NBA: Curry Looking To Add Finals MVP to Resume with Hot Shooting Game 2.

They said ‘Curry doesn’t show up in the Finals

I think he read y’all tweets.

And now, ‘Here we are.’

Exactly where everyone said we’d be at this point. I mean, after Game 1, I was hoping for something that matched the drama in that one.

Instead, we got a game that looked close early but it didn’t feel close. Then Steph Curry happened.

Curry, hit an NBA Finals record 9 triples on route to 33 points as the Golden State Warriors beat the Cavaliers 122-103.

He shot 11-26 from the field including the 9-16 from deep. If you ask me, put Curry’s name on the MVP trophy cause he’s playing that good right now.

Lebron James on the other spectrum had another spectacular game, having nearly a triple double. James went for 29 points, 9 rebounds and 13 assist as one of only 3 Cavaliers to score in double figures.

Kevin Love scored 22 and Tristian Thompson had 11 but ( I love using this term ) ‘The Other Cavaliers‘ didn’t participate much besides being bodies to fill the lineup as usual on the road in the playoffs.

JR Smith was serenaded with MVP chants in the 2nd Quarter as he shot free throws :

while everyone on Twitter was wondering why Jordan Clarkson still shoots the ball and isn’t buried on the bench.

But either way, this game was in the bag from the beginning. Golden State ended the night shooting 57% from the field. It started off focused as usual, got bored and it got close, then back to focus and you see the end results of that.

I’m gonna give Cleveland one game still. It maybe will be Games 3 or 4 in Ohio, but Golden State will be celebrating their championship on their home court this year after Game 5. Lebron just doesn’t have the help he had in previous years.

So I look at it like Cleveland fans, enjoy your last two games of not having Kevin Love as your superstar player. Cause Lebron is gone after these finals. Where to? I have no idea. But these are probably his last two home games as a Cavalier.

But after this series I’m sure Steph will be adding some hardware to his trophy case if he keeps this up.
